Combining aesthetics and functionality, creating impactful design, prioritising effective communication.

What is design? Is it a tool to express creativity through pleasing visuals? Or is it more than that?

I believe it is achieved through problem-solving skills, combining effective communication and creativity altogether, creating impactful visuals which could reach the desired target audience with its conveyed message.

Hi, I’m Davin

I started my journey in 2018 as a photographer. I initially did it as a hobby. As time passed, I developed an interest in the creative industry and started designing. I then decided to pursue a design study in Communication Design at Torrens University Australia. I learned through my courses and worked on various design briefs. During these, I realised my love for creative advertising.

As my interest in advertising grew, I started tackling more projects involving creating collaterals. These collaterals include prints and digitals. I developed marketing prints, web-design prototypes, social media touchpoints, to product packaging. I also honed my photography skills during my study, working with models in a studio setting.

Past Projects

  • PWP Binus

Branding and promotional design work. This includes developing a design concept while addressing the client’s needs and preferences. Marketing collaterals were created, such as the main poster, design assets, brand logo, and online touchpoints, from Google form banners to Twibbons to Zoom backgrounds.

  • MBCG Australia

Design work developed for a starting non-profit organisation specialising in helping metastatic breast cancer patients across Australia. This project includes developing the brand identity as well as promotional materials.

  • Lukumades

Advertising design work involving a small cafe based in Sydney. This project emphasised creating promotional assets while implementing the brand’s identity in the design, creating a holistic approach.

  • St George Stadium

A revitalisation project involving an abandoned stadium. The site has an important history to the public, influencing the design decisions and outcomes of this project.

  • GQ Australia

A photography work within a studio setting. The photoshoot was done while keeping in mind the brand’s need for a professional and elegant look in the pictures. Post-process edits were also done to enhance the images.

  • Kirbites

This project scope is wide enough that we had to cover the design and photography aspects. This includes developing a branding identity while maintaining the client’s wants for the characteristics.
